Job description
We’re looking for a Java Developer to join our friendly and supportive team. You’ll be involved in building and maintaining our Java applications and APIs, and there’ll be opportunities to take the lead on your own projects too. As you grow in the role, you’ll also help out with mentoring junior team members and supporting our existing systems.
The role is based in our Stockton-on-Tees office and you will be required to work from the office at least three days a week.
Please note: We’re not able to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants will need to have existing right to work in the UK.
Requirements
You’ll have around 3 to 5 years of commercial experience with server-side Java, along with a genuine interest in writing clean, reliable code. A strong attention to detail, a love for learning, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are all important for this role.
You will either have a degree in a subject based around science, engineering, mathematics or computer science or equivalent professional qualifications and relevant work experience.
