Energy Market Reporter – Denmark (Temporary – Parental Leave Cover)
The Danish energy system is at an exciting juncture, boosting renewables and massively reducing its dependence on fossil fuels.
Montel News seeks a journalist to cover energy price developments, policy and company news from one of the most dynamic and important sectors in Denmark as parental leave cover, from June 2026 to the end of the year.
The position will involve writing stories on the Danish power and gas market, including news about market drivers, companies in the sector and policy and regulatory developments.

The position will suit news-driven reporters looking to take their journalism skills to the next level in a busy newswire environment with a global reach. Freelancers will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be able to write articles quickly under time pressure, generating exclusive and on-diary stories.

Following Denmark’s transition to a carbon-neutral economy.
Developing contacts and establishing relationships with companies in the energy sector.
